Originally from Seattle, Washington, I moved to New York City in 2017 to attend film school at Brooklyn College, where I received my Bachelor's degree in film production. Since graduating in 2020, I then worked as a freelance film photographer working with musicians and artists alike to create portraits, headshots, album covers or other artistic and creative portraiture. Simultaneously, I was also employed at one of the biggest studios in Manhattan (Pier59 Studios) working as a studio assistant. This studio job allowed me to have direct hands-on access to a wide array of equipment/lighting gear (elinchrome banks, various Arri lighting kits, fresnels, all basic grip equipment, and much more) . I am now currently getting my Master's in photography at Speos Photographic Institute in Paris.
I have not worked with any long-standing photographers yet - but am eager to dive into this world and accumulate experience as an assistant working directly with experienced photographers.
